The Last Supper

God bless and love forever for those who are starting a new journey of faith in another cell group. You will be dearly missed yet like what Johnson had said, "our relationships go beyond that of cg members, but we are friends forever."

ARCHANGEL OF THE YEAR 2008:

Johnson's angel: MICHAEL

Congratulations Michael for your selfless giving despite your meager allowance in army! You exemplified what loving people fervently with no strings attached is all about. Your great love will leave a legacy for many to emulate in future.

Thank you for all the other angels who gave with such great generosity and love as well despite your busy school, army or work commitments as well as the economic recession. It is the love, care and concern for one another that will show the world we are disciples of Christ. God is smiling all over you right now. :)

ARCHDEVIL OF THE YEAR 2008:

Noone

We also believe in the spirit of forgiveness and mercy, and God is a God of second chances. We believe that you will make it a point to bless the next round too. For those who gave but receive nothing in return, cheer up and no hard feelings against your angel ok? It is more blessed to give than to receive, and you are a magnanimous person full of grace and mercy like our Abba Father. :)

My feelings about CG

I have been with this cg ever since i came church. Over the years, i myself have been impacted by the efforts of others, in small and big ways. All of it had formed an integral part of my opinion towards cg, which i firmly believe that it is a loving cg.
Don't get me wrong. It is not a perfect cg. There were my down periods when i felt my efforts were overlooked and taken for granted. But it was through it all that i realised that my expectations of people should not be referenced to perfection, but instead i should adopt a more open and loving heart towards my friends.
There was an instance lately that had penetrated my heart. It convinced me that this cg is made up of people who cares. On a saturday after our usual service, i was staying back to clean up the hall. It was one of those "long-support" days that ushers know very well. So the story goes that i was covering the seats with the thick black cloth, and i was very tired.
"Are you done? Will you be going for fellowship?", he asked.
"Dun think so. Still doing ushering. Prob around 9plus then finish", i replied.
"Where are you? I come and help you," he said with a convincing tone.
And he did came. Within around 5minutes. And he helped me out until we came to fellowship together.
The point here is this. He wasn't an usher, and the reason why he was still around in church so late was he was doing his ministry elsewhere. But he made a stand to assist me in whatever he could. That was a point of reference that this cg is worth a lot.
There are many more examples that i could share, but its quite impossible to say them altogether. I just hope that this story has inspired you. See you this coming friday! :)
